Kolibri is the German word for Hummingbird.
Our richly landscaped gardens attract island
birds that seek the many blossoms found here.
Wake up to the beautiful tropical sunrise
shinning through the bedroom window.
Located on top of a hill, the house presents itself to
the soft breezes that course over the island from the Atlantic Ocean.
Wonderful views of the ocean over which
the sun rises in spectacular colors.
The evenings are accented with equally fantastic sunsets over the lake and beyond.
Some of the best views are from the conversation pit on a rise just behind the
house,
a perfect place for refreshments at the end of the day.
Our house is equipped with all the essentials
that will assure you
and your family an unforgettable island getaway.
There are three bedrooms, one bath, large living room and covered patio.
The complete kitchen can serve up great breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

If you are not inclined to cook every
night and would want to socialize,
arrangements can be made with the hotel at Greenwood for dinners or other services.
The hotel is just a short five minute walk down the road.
There is usually an interesting group of guests from around the world
to have a drink with or meet over dinner.

Allthough you have a wonderfull and fully equiped kitchen ,
you are always welcome to have meals at Greenwood
Mealplans
Most people staying with us are havingbreakfast and dinner with us,
and if you feel hungry inbetween there is always somebody
in the kittchen to help you out.
Breakfat and Dinner : $ 48.00
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner : $ 54.00
But of course you can also get all the meals seperate
and you can choose during the day what you feel like.
Single breakfast: $ 15.00
Lunchmeals vary between $ 7.00 und $ 10.00
Dinner : $ 38.00
Kids between the 4 and the 10 pay only half of the mealplan.
Payments
As forms of payment we accept VISA and MASTERCARD,
Travelers Checks and cash.
Personal checks are not accepted.
There is no bank nor ATM on Cat Island !

Taxifares and Car Rentals
There are several local Taxi drivers
and places to rent a car on Cat Island.We can allways arrange a taxi or a rental waiting for you at the airport.
The ride to Greenwood from the airport is approx. 35 minutes
and costs $ 50.00 for 1-2 persons.
( any extra persons will be charged $ 3.00 )If you want to rent a car we also can arrange that for you.
The prices for a rental car depend on how many days you want the car,
and vary between $ 60.00 and $ 80.00 per day. ( can be negociated with them )If you would like to talk to the carrental and arrange it yourself
